Estate Planning and Probate in Greenville

John M. Hine received his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL. M.) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to attending the University of Florida, John earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Clemson University.

John's main areas of focus are Complex Estate Planning (which includes wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney), Business Law, LLC formations, Tax (including Tax Exempt Organizations), and Probate Administration and Litigation.

In addition to practicing law, John has been a Visiting Lecturer at Clemson University since the Spring of 2013.  He has taught both Estate and Retirement Planning as well as Individual Income Taxation in the School of Accountancy and Finance.

When John is not practicing law or lecturing, he is busy with his wife Maria raising their two children. John and his wife are members of Taylors First Baptist Church where they are highly involved in their Life Group.
